The Richmond Golf Club is situated approximately 10 minutes from Hobart City and 5 minutes from Hobart Airport. The course is located just 3km outside the township of Cambridge on the road to Richmond Village and has one of the most beautiful views overlooking the Barilla Bay waterway.

Richmond Golf Club is a private 9-hole country course and welcomes new members and visitors.

Richmond Golf Club is a member of the Southern Country Golf Association (SCGA), and aligned with Golf Tasmania , a subsidiary of Golf Australia. The Club has reciprocal rights with Tasman Golf Club (Tas), Bridport Golf Club (Tas) and Beacon Hill Golf Club (Vic).

Richmond Golf Club Inc is supported by the Tasmanian Government. 

Please use YELLOW tee markers for all social or practice rounds.

Please also replace and then sand those divots on tee beds, fairways and area of general play to make sure the course remains in a good condition all year round.

Please always repair plug marks on the greens.  

Women's Monthly Medal - Saturday or Thursday

As there have not been enough women playing on a Wednesday to hold a competition, the alternative day for the women's montly medal will now be held on the Thursday following the Saturday monthly medal day.  Women can play either day but if they play Saturday their Thurday score won't count for monthly medal.  The first day for this new arrangement will be Thursday 14th August.  To help with this change the Thursday event will now be a stoke (max score) event as a daily comp.  Women in monthly medal will need to record a score for each hole where max score players are allowed to pick up once the max score has been reached.  Please speak to the committee if you have any questions.
